Terms & Conditions

Estimates are an approximation and are not guaranteed. The estimate is based on information provided from the client regarding project requirements. Actual cost may change once all project elements are finalized or negotiated. Reasonable effort will be made to notify the client of any changes to costs while project is ongoing.

If the vessel is not available or accessible for the agreed upon appointment time a minimum fee of $80 will be charged to the customer, and the appointment will have to be rescheduled.

Labour rate is $140/hour (min 1 hr charge), travel rate is $80/hour round trip based out of Langford (min 1/2 hr charge).  If we are unable to provide an estimate for any reason, the job will be billed per hour on site at $140/hour for one technician.

Customer Responsibilities

We take pride in the quality of our workmanship and aim to ensure your complete satisfaction. To help us maintain our standards and address any concerns promptly, we ask that you:

  • Inspect the completed work within 30 days of the service date.

  • Report any issues or concerns in writing (email, text, or our contact form) within that 30-day period.

Any concerns reported after 30 days of completed work will not be covered under our service guarantee, as we cannot verify the cause of issues beyond this timeframe. Prompt inspection and communication allow us to resolve matters quickly and effectively.

Payment Terms

All invoices for services and parts are due upon receipt. Interest at 3% will be charged on all overdue accounts at 7 days. There is no service charge to pay via e-transfer.  All credit card payments will be charged a 2.4% fee.  

Ownership of the parts remains with No Panic Mechanic until payment is received in full.
